**City of Lakeland Updates Parks and Recreation Openings Following Hurricane Milton**
LAKELAND, FL - The City of Lakeland's Parks, Recreation, and Cultural Arts Department has released an update regarding the status of parks and recreational facilities following Hurricane Milton.
As of Monday, October 14, the city's parks and green spaces have been assessed and a current list of open areas is available at Lakelandgov.net/ParkRecHurricane. The department is actively working to clear hazards and reopen venues as swiftly as possible.
All libraries and recreation centers, including the Beerman Family Tennis Center and Gandy Pool, are operating during their regular hours. The Cleveland Heights Golf Course is also open, although access to the course is currently limited.
For the latest updates on storm impact and facility openings, residents can visit LakelandGov.net/Hurricane.
