Clearwater Threshers Baseball announced plans to celebrate National Mascot Day and Phinley’s Birthday at BayCare Ballpark in Clearwater, Florida. The event will honor their favorite shark mascot, Phinley Thresher, along with his fellow mascots.

The celebration on Thursday will feature appearances from Southpaw from the Lakeland Flying Tigers, Pete and Pinnie from Tampa Bay Rowdies, a representative from Tampa Bay Sun FC, DJay of Dunedin Blue Jays, King Ripple of Tampa Tarpons, Captain Fear of the Buccaneers, Rocky Bull from USF Athletics, and Marty from Bradenton Marauders.

Fans can also sign up for Lil Anglers at the Kids Club through the official Minor League Baseball website and obtain discounted tickets via the promotions page on the Clearwater Threshers website.
