This weekend in Lackawanna County and surrounding areas offers a variety of events for residents and visitors. At PNC Field, the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders will play against the Syracuse Mets. The Lakeland Orchard & Cidery will host the Apple Harvest Festival. Downtown Scranton will welcome attendees to the La Festa Italiana di Lackawanna County. Railfest will take place at the Steamtown National Historic Site.

Family-friendly events include a showing of “Jaws” at the Circle Drive-In and Dogs Night Out at Groove Brewing. The Captain James R. Minicozzi Memorial 5K Run/1 Mile Walk is scheduled in Downtown Scranton. Theater fans can attend Brat Night at The Ritz Theater, while a trolley excursion to a RailRiders baseball game will leave from the Electric City Trolley Station & Museum. In addition, Sunday Music Series will be held at The Roof at Oppenheim.
