**Maude Frazier Honored as Focused on Excellence Winner**
Polk County Public Schools (PCPS) has announced that Maude Frazier, assistant principal at Socrum Elementary, is the latest recipient of the Focused on Excellence award. This campaign, now in its fifth year, aims to recognize the hard work and contributions of PCPS employees. Colleagues from various departments nominated individuals for the chance to receive prizes and acknowledgment on communication platforms.
Maude Frazier is a familiar face in the district, having been named the Polk County Teacher of the Year for the 2020-21 academic year. In her acceptance, she expressed gratitude for the opportunities to advance her career and highlighted the importance of support from mentors.
As part of the recognition, Maude received a gift package sponsored by several local businesses and organizations, including IDX Brands, MIDFLORIDA Credit Union, Publix, Chick-fil-A Bartow, Sign Gypsies Lakeland, and others.
The Focused on Excellence campaign continues to celebrate the dedication of educational professionals in the community.
