Community Recovery Outreach Event for Hurricane Milton

On Saturday, November 23, 2024, the RP Funding Center in Lakeland will host a Community Recovery Outreach event in response to Hurricane Milton. This event will take place from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the Lake Hollingsworth Room, located at 701 W Lime St, Lakeland, FL 33815.
At the event, residents will have access to various resources, including FEMA assistance, food, and toiletry kits. These resources will be available while supplies last.
Several organizations will be present to assist attendees, including Central Florida Health Care, FEMA, the Florida Department of Health, Freedom Tour, Lighthouse Ministries, Polk County Community Health Care, Polk for Recovery, Polk Vision, and United Way Community Wellness.
The event is hosted by the United Way of Central Florida in partnership with the City of Lakeland, Combee Connection Ministries, GiveWell Community Foundation, Polk County Emergency Management, Polk County Government, and Polk Vision.
Residents are encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity for support and resource connection following the hurricane.
