Lake Bonny Outflow Increased to Lower Water Levels

**Public Notice: Increase in Lake Bonny Pump Outflow**

LAKELAND, FL (November 1, 2024) — The City of Lakeland has announced an increase in the outflow from Lake Bonny in an effort to lower water levels. An additional pump, provided by the Army Corps of Engineers, has been implemented to assist in transferring water from Lake Bonny to Lake Parker.

Following the initial test, which was successful, the Army Corps of Engineers has ramped up the operation to 1800 RPMs after 24 hours of pumping. For further details, residents can refer to the complete press release available at LakelandGov.net/LakeBonnyUpdate110124.
